Divination & Character Analysis
Description: Svarogu (Svarog) is the Slavic "father of all other gods," and the personification of the sky. Svarogu gave birth to two children, the Sun (Dazhbog) and Fire, (Svarogich or Ogon) Svarogu was believed to also generate the heat and light of the sun. Slavic mythology is still murky according to standard mythology books, but in general, the Slavic peoples believed life to have a certain all-pervading untity which also embraced all phenomena. This outlook is called animism. Specific animals worshipped by Slavs were not to be killed, nor their flesh consumed; and the "Tree of Life" was important in Slavic mythology.
